Barbara A. Rich, 90, of Camanche, passed away, Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Mercy - Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 2:00pm, Monday, April 15, 2019 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church - Camanche. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00pm at the church. Private family burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory - Camanche is assisting the family. Barbara Ann Hardersen was born on September 10, 1928 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of George and Gladys (Holle) Hardersen. She was a 1946 graduate of Clinton High School, and later graduated from the University of Iowa. She married William H. Parker on July 28, 1951 in Dubuque; he died in 1987. She later married Thomas Rich on July 17, 1988 in Las Vegas; he died March 22, 2013.

Barb was the first librarian at the Camanche Public Library in 1965. She later became the librarian at the Camanche Elementary School for 25 years.

Barb was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing golf and was a member at Valley Oaks and the Fulton Country Club. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, and loved to play bridge. She also enjoyed traveling and was an avid Hawkeye football and basketball fan.

Barb is survived by two daughters: Camilla (Dennis Owens) Kepler of Bennett, Colorado; Martha (Richard) Jacobs of Clinton; her son: William Parker of Lakewood, Colorado; four grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and her brother: Thomas (June) Hardersen of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and one sister.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Sarah Harding Home or St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
