Duane J. PeeWee Hagge, age 86 of Clinton, passed away Thursday Nov. 16, 2017 at The Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday Nov. 20th at the Faith Lutheran Church in Andover. Visitation will be held Monday 9:30 AM until the service hour at the church. Burial will be at Andover Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Casket bearers will be his nephews. Memorials may be given to the American Alzheimers Association. Duane was born on March 25, 1931 in Teeds Grove, IA, the son of Eddie and Clara (Greve) Hagge. He served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1953. He married Evelyn Farley on Oct. 4, 1952 in Andover. Duane was a farmer most of his life and was a truck driver for Pillsbury Mills. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Miles American Legion Post #677, a 32nd Degree Mason, and a volunteer for the Andover Fire Department. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, woodcutting, and picking walnuts, cherries, and apples.
Duane is survived by his wife, Evelyn Hagge of Clinton; his brother, Kenneth Hagge of Clinton, his sister, Marlene (Gilbert) Bott of Clinton; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-laws, Joan Hagge and Maxine Hagge.
