My deepest sympathies to the family of Essie Mae. She was a wonderful lady I shall miss greatly. Her smile & laugh I still hear as she told me when I was going out to get before 11 pm & be careful walking in the snow. How much fun we had when I slept over & the many times she would listen to me when I was upset or happy about something that happened & would listen for hours to her stories. I will forever hear her say "don't own it or it will be yours" in life. Her daughters & grand-kids were her life & always by her side. She knew her Lord & taught me. I miss my neighbor at Park Towers with all my heart. I loved her like my own mother. A brave, strong woman fought hard & never gave in to... pain. May God rest her sweet soul. I love you Essie Read more

So sorry for your loss of a great lady. Essie was a very kind lady my mom spoke of very often to me. My mom Rita Gordon and Essie played bingo together and visited with one another at Twin Towers. I know my mom will certainly miss her. And I can say that i will too. Just to hear of the stories my mom told. We all have a wonderful Angel looking upon us. Rest peacefully dear Essie.
