Schmitlein on October 13, 1934 Joseph passed away in February of 1998. She worked at the Collis Company for 25 years, retiring to stay home to take care of her husband.

She was known for delicious angel food cakes, cheese cakes and actually any thing she would bake! She was a beautiful fun-loving lady that loved to dance, fish, bake, and go horseback riding. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Evelyn would have a 2-week vacation from work each year and she would always take a few days for each grandchild and treat them to a vacation and show them a good time.

At age 75, Evelyn and a lady friend drove to Arizona and she fell in love with that State. Evelyn out lived three wonderful husbands. She had seen many things happen in her 102 years and it was fun to listen to her tell some of the things that have changed in that length of time.

She had a wonderful caretaker, George and a Grandson David, who took care of her and her affairs. With the help of these two gentlemen she was able to live in her own home.

Evelyn is survived by one daughter Catherine M. Ingwersen and son in-law Louis F. Ingwersen; one brother Vernon King; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren.
