Gary Lou Morrow


Gary Lou Morrow, 76, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Mandeville, Louisiana.
He leaves behind his wife, Diana, and daughters, Rena (Shawn) Wharff, Kayla (Richard) Harris and a brother, Verne Morrow; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a great grandchild Ollie Kinler, his parents and three siblings.
Born and raised in Clinton, IA, son of Kenneth and Edna Morrow, he was a resident of Clinton, IA and later moved to Indian Mound, TN and Mandeville, LA.
Gary worked as a Construction Superintendent until his retirement.
In his early years, Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, and Nascar.
He was a kind and loving man whom everyone that met him loved. He loved to sing and make others laugh. Later in life as he slowed down, the jokes kept going.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made toward funeral expenses.
Please join us in celebrating his life at on June 1st, 2019 from 4 PM to 7 PM at 1031 8th Avenue N, Clinton, Iowa 52732 for memories and refreshments.

Thoughts and prayers to family. It has been a long time since I have seen Gary but I remember him sitting in our kitchen strumming his guitar and singing Merle Haggard and Kris Kristopherson songs.
