Las Vegas, NV- Kyle James Terry, 46, passed away on March 16, 2017. Kyle was born on February 22, 1971 and resided in the Quad Cities area until his work took him to Las Vegas. Kyle was the founder and president of a successful internet advertising firm where he is best remembered for how much he cared about his employees, his genuine interest in their wellbeing, his Friday afternoon barbeques, (usually inappropriate) office humor, mentorship, leadership, and most of all kindness. Kyle fiercely loved his family and friends and embodied the characteristics of his comic book super heroes: always willing to help, generous, and big hearted. Kyle is survived by his wife, Kim (Burken) Terry; son, Anthony (Tony) Shiltz and daughter-in-law, Bre-Annah (Bre) Shiltz; daughter, Kathleen (Katie) Terry; furry-children, Delilah and Baby D; mother and husband, Gwen and Larry Gerbitz; step-mother and husband, Joyce and Bill Byers; brother, Leroy (Beavis) and wife, Grace Terry; brother, Russell (Russ) Terry; sister, Wenna and husband Richard Kline; sister, Tonya and husband, Greg Sacrison; sister, Shonna Terry; sister, Dana Terry; brother, Larry and wife, Janice Gerbitz; numerous nieces and nephews; and a million friends. Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Duane Terry and sister, Lonna Terry. A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held from 1:00PM to 3:00PM March 25 at Risen Christ Lutheran Church, 6021 Northwest Blvd, Davenport, IA. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Kyle's name to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, 4981 Shirley St, Las Vegas, NV 89119, or www.nphy.org, a cause that touched Kyle's big heart.
