My deepest condolences on your loss. It was 25 years ago this month that Clinton lost another hero. The sorry fades but the memories never do.

My deepest condolences go out to Eric’s family. I was surprised to hear his name on our news in Waterloo, IA. I taught Eric math in 1999 in Camanche. I remember he was such a nice kid. My heart broke when I heard what happened.

To the Hosette family, Kelly and Adalynne,

Our heartfelt sympathies to the Hosette family. Remembering the Camanche Fire Department for the ever loving pancake Sunday at the close of Camanche Days. We saw this young man waiting on tables making sure we had everything we all needed.

Eric wearing his uniform and so proud looking. I knew this young man would be a great firefighter.

Just look at all Eric accomplished. Such an inspiration to all.

Again, our prayers and support from our family to yours.

But most of all remember God is with you & holds Eric in Hiis arms. Sincerest sympathy & blessings to all family, firefighters, & friends. I love you all.

I never knew Eric, but worked many years with his father (Bill) at Blue Ridge Paper. The family is such an asset to all that know any of them and add tremendous value to our lives. My heart and prayers are with each of them. I pray the family can take solace in knowing Erics memory will forever live through the hearts of those that he has touched and through the hearts of those that never got the honor to know him yet. You will be missed and I look forward to the day I can sit by his side and recall the memories I shared with his family. We will definately have some laughs.
