Mary Ann did various kinds of work in the Clinton area over the years. She met many wonderful people and friends, many of which she had kept in contact with throughout her life. She retired in 2006 from McGladrey & Pullen in Clinton, IA. After retiring, she took great joy in traveling and having family and friends over to the house to enjoy her swimming pool. She has attended the Vietnam reunions all over the US, been on cruises and trips to tropical islands, including Hawaii. She has also traveled to Japan, Mexico, Aruba, the Bahamas, and the Cayman Islands. One of her most treasured trips was to the Cayman Islands where she went with Bob just weeks before his passing. She was a long-time member of Community Congregational Church in Clinton, IA, where she had many friends who supported her through her illness. She loved her church and the people of her congregation.
