Phyllis Maxine Nicolet

February 16, 1929 - March 13, 2019

Phyllis Maxine Nicolet Heaven opened its' gates today, Wednesday, March 13, 2019 to our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, Phyllis Maxine Nicolet. God carried her mercifully into His loving arms where she will be joyously reunited with her loving husband, Victor Nicolet.
Phyllis was born on February 16, 1929 to Matthew and Catherine (Collins) Kirschbaum. She was united in marriage to Victor Dean Nicolet on November 25, 1950 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Mason City, Iowa. Together they farmed near Thornton, Iowa
Phyllis and Victor welcomed two daughters, Mary Ann Nicolet and Vickie Marie Nicolet.
Both Phyllis and Victor enjoyed card club and she loved gardening.
Phyllis was a devout Catholic and always held the church in high esteem, and through her faith, endured the early death of her much beloved husband in 1982.
Phyllis worked various jobs before retiring from Walmart in Mason City, Iowa. She then moved back to Clinton, Iowa in 2006 to be closer to her daughters where she resided until God called her home.
Phyllis is survived by her two daughters Mary Ann White (William), and Vickie Walker, both of Clinton, Iowa. Grandchildren: Waylon Koehler, Clinton, Iowa, Elissa Finch, Torrance, California, and Jessie Vroegh (James) of Clinton, Iowa. Grandchildren: Callie Walker, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Aubry and Ty Koehler of Clinton, Iowa and Carson Vroegh, also of Clinton, Iowa.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister Kathryn Vipond and brother The Most Reverend Robert Kirschbaum and several aunts.
Memorials may be made to the family.
