William "Bill"'s Story
William E. Hullinger Sr., 62, of Clinton passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center Clinton.
Memorial Services will be 10:30 am Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Camanche, IA. William Enos Hullinger Sr. was born May 8, 1955 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Dr. John D. and Lucille (Brown) Hullinger. He married his beautiful wife, Rachel Wilbur on May 19, 2012 in Clinton.
Bill worked maintenance for Mill Creek Apartment complexes. As well as many other construction jobs over the years. He was an incredible handy man that was willing to lend his talents and skills to anybody that needed him. Bill was a member of River Church in Clinton, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, taking drives in the country, camping, and spending time with his family. He had a childlike spirit and was very outgoing and adventurous. From the days of playing in bands to more recently running his own DJ business, Bill had a passion for music. His family was everything to him and he had special place in his heart for helping others. He had a heart of gold!
Bill is survived by his loving wife Rachel Hullinger of Clinton; two sons: Billy Hullinger of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Shawn (Ardessa) Hullinger of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one daughter: Wendy White of Clinton; two step-daughters: Ashleigh (Austin) Wilkens of Clinton and Sarah Dever of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; one great grandson; sister: Penny (John) Stratton of Mediapolis, Iowa; brother: John (Kathy) Hullinger of Clinton and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
