Connie Kemp, 67, of Mansfield, Missouri, formerly of Clinton, passed away, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at home.
Services will be 2:00pm, Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Visitation will be from Noon to the service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Constance Joy Hugunin was born on December 11, 1949 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Harvey and Jean (Lucke) Hugunin. She was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Connie was a machine operator with Lamson and Sessions for several years.
Connie enjoyed fishing, working in her yard, solving Suduku puzzles, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved animals especially her dog Ben and cat Mouse.
Connie is survived by her children: Candi (Pat) McCutcheon of Clinton, Rose (Cory Boyer) Taylor of Clinton, Gary (Nonny Whitlock) Kemp, Jr. of Clinton, and Eugene (Tammy) Kemp, Sr. of Clinton; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her brother: James (Teresa) Hugunin of Camanche, her uncle: Bruce (Barb) Lucke of Seymor, Missouri, and two sister-in-laws: Mary (Glen) Wright of Clinton and Patricia Curtis of LeClaire.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her companion: Wayne Bromley, her grandson: Eugene Kemp, II, her sister: Patricia (Hugunin) Gertz and her brother: David Hugunin.
Memorials can be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
