Elizabeth O'Neal, 90, of Hemet, California, formerly of Camanche, passed away, Friday, February 24, 2017 at Menifee Valley Medical Hospital.
Elizabeth Udelle O'Neal was born on April 20, 1926 in Highland Park, Illinois, the daughter of Ernest and Udelle (Andersen) Ringberg. She was a graduate of Thornton High School in Highland Park, Illinois and Northern Illinois University.
Elizabeth was a much loved art teacher at Camanche High School until
her retirement in 1981 after which she moved to California where she enjoyed her love of the ocean, sailing, going to plays and camping.
Elizabeth is survived by her children; Sean O'Neal of Incline Village, Nevada, Tereen (Nelson) Elmore of San Marcos, California, Rory (Marcia Kelsay) O'Neal of Incline Village, Nevada, Erin Brown of Melbourne, Florida, Brion (Theresa Comer) O'Neal and Stacy O'Neal of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sisters; Jeanne Tilton of Naperville, Illinois, Louise (Jerald) Philipp of Osage, Iowa, brothers; David (Molly) Ringberg of Georgetown, Texas, Edwin (Mary Ann) Ringberg of Moline, Illinois, Walter (Claire) Ahrens of Bellevue, Nebraska; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters; Nancy Arthur of Oceanside, California, Marilyn Neher of Oceanside, California, Carole Buck of Warrenville, Illinois and grandson, Devin O'Neal of Carlsbad, California.
An intimate gathering of close friends and relatives will be at 1:00 pm, Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Forster Beach in Oceanside, California.
