Clinton, Iowa - Betty L. Berg, 89, of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Clarrisa C. Cook Hospice House - Bettendorf, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Betty Lou Neumann was born on May 12, 1936 in Clinton, the daughter of William C. and Mabel G. (Cox) Neumann. She was a 1954 graduate of Clinton High School. Betty married Henry T. Berg on July 23, 1976 in Clinton. They made their home in Fulton, Illinois for many years. Henry passed away on November 20, 2006.

Betty was a bookkeeper for Agri-Co Chemical Company and Krambeck Feed and Grain. She also was a travel agent with Gateway Travel.

Betty had a gift of crafting. She enjoyed sharing her talents with the Whiteside County Home Extension, her family, and friends. She also loved sewing, knitting and crocheting. She regularly played cards, meeting for decades with the same group of high school friends. Betty loved hosting tea parties, the color blue, reading, and flowers. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and GG. Betty's positivity, playful nature, and spunky attitude will be missed by all.

Betty is survived by two daughters: Kimberly Rentz of Clinton, and Pamela (Randy) May of Fulton; four grandchildren: Jeremy (Michelle) Rentz, Christy (Justin) Doornink, Lindsey (Bradley) Kennedy, and Broderick May; four great-grandchildren: Landon Kennedy, Adeleine Rentz, and Issac and Lillian Doornink. In addition to her husband Henry, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: William and Bobbie; her sister: Dorothy Bieber; and son-in-law Robert Rentz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
