Oxford Junction, Iowa - Betty J. Cubbage, 89, of Oxford Junction passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Clarence Nursing Home.

Her family is granting her wishes of a cremation and a private burial at Mayflower Cemetery. Dawson Funeral Services of Oxford Junction is caring for her family.

Betty Jean was born on October 31, 1932 in Baldwin, Iowa to John and Elsie (Feuss) Brauer. On June 20, 1951 she was united in marriage to Dacil Cubbage Jr. at the United Methodist Church in Oxford Junction. She worked as Custodial Home and at the produce store in Oxford Junction. She was a hardworking person who loved to go to flea markets and antique. She was talented at finding a good deal at a garage sale and repurpose old furniture.

Those left to cherish her memory is her sister-in-law Barbara Brauer of Oxford Junction and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Darlene, two brothers; Harold and Gerald and a nephew Larry.
