Beverly Ann Evers, 94, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday March 12, 2025, at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation, Clinton. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Beverly was born Nov. 6, 1930, in Clinton, the daughter of Martin and Dorothy (Petersen) Evers. She worked as a waitress for downtown Maidrite and Udder Delight and helping local families with childcare. Beverly enjoyed country music and dancing, embroidery, crossword puzzles, going to Lumberkings games, and she enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren.
In 2011, she took a family vacation to Arizona, attended baseball games, and visited the Grand Canyon, where she commented, "That's a big hole." She loved all her dogs, especially her last dog, Katie.
Beverly is survived by her son, Tom (Kathy) Monahan and daughter, Velda (Tim) Arvola both of Clinton, Iowa; 4 grandchildren, Patrick, Matthew, Katie, and Emily; 4 great grandchildren, Brady, Ethan, Declan, and Sophie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Wayne, and her infant twin sister.
