Maquoketa, Iowa - Brenda J. Sanders, 64, of Maquoketa passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Jackson County Regional Hospital in Maquoketa.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Dawson Funeral Services in Maquoketa. Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Dawson Funeral Services.

Brenda was born on September 16, 1958 in Clinton, Iowa to William and Lois (Mussmann)

McCluskey. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1977. On April 26, 1985 she was

united in marriage to Timothy Sanders in Clinton County, Iowa. Brenda worked for Alcoa

(Arconic) in Davenport before retiring. She enjoyed watching movies, gameshows, playing

board and card games. She also really enjoyed puppies and babies. Brenda was a

collector of anything pigs. She loved her family and spending time with them.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Timothy of Maquoketa, three daughters;

Nicole Sanders, Kayla Sanders both of Clinton, Ashley Sanders of Marion, nine

grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her mother Lois McCluskey of Clinton, three

sisters; Margaret (Wayne) Thola of Preston, Connie Wilson of Rockford, Mary Quick of

Clinton and two brothers; Steve (Mickie) McCluskey of Illinois and William McCluskey Jr. of

Buffalo.

She is preceded in death by her father, a brother Patrick and her daughter Cara.
