Clinton, Iowa - Carol L. Randall, 93, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Bird House in Iowa City, Iowa.

Memorial Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to the service time at the funeral home. Carol Lee Walker was born December 7, 1932, in Clinton, the daughter of Leon and Elsie (Freidricksen) Walker. She was a graduate of Miles High School where she was active in the choir and numerous athletic programs. During this time she was selected to participate in the Iowa State Choir. She married Eugene Randall on September 10, 1950, in Miles; he died February 5, 2018.

After her marriage, Carol assisted her husband in the management of the family business, Randall's Welding Shop. In 1963, Carol was employed by the Clinton Recreation Department and was appointed Office Manager when city offices were consolidated as the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department. She remained with that Department until her retirement in 1988.

Carol was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and enjoyed league bowling, bridge and golf. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society, was a member of the Fulton Country Club, PEO HV, the Junior Women's Club and was formerly a member of the Clinton Country Club.

Carol is survived by two daughters: Dr. Diane (Dr. Thomas) Andrews of Longwood, Florida, and Donna (Robert) Rasley of North Liberty, Iowa; four grandchildren: Sara (Dustin) Miller, Dr. Alicia (Scott) Myers, Christine (Jordan) Dodds, and Charles (Emily) Andrews; six great-grandchildren: Liam and Madeleine Miller, Keaton and Gavin Myers, and Dylan and Evelyn Dodds. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Jane and Nancy; and a great-granddaughter: Libby Miller.
