Carol A. Taylor, age 86, of Clinton passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Mercy One Hospital. Private funeral services have been held. Burial was in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home assisted the family.

Carol was born in Clinton on September 6, 1938, the daughter of Glenn and Irene (Zbinden) Bailey. She graduated from Clinton High School. Carol married William Taylor on August 11, 1956, in Clinton. William passed away on December 18, 1997. Carol liked playing cards and board games.

Carol is survived by 2 daughters, Deb (Dan) Dopson and Kim Taylor both of Clinton; a son, Mark (Barb) Taylor of Apache Junction, Arizona; 4 grandchildren, Jason (Kristi) Dopson of Franklin, Wisconsin, Angie (Travis) Laurion of Spring Hill, Florida, David Taylor of Denver, Colorado, and Steven Taylor of Gilbert, Arizona, and 4 great-grandchildren, Isaac Laurion, Austin Laurion, Maddux Dopson, and Megan Dopson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a granddaughter, Jessica, and a brother, Gerald. Memorials in Carol's name may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation.
