Carolyn J. Wolf, 77, a resident of Clinton, Iowa died Friday, September 2, 2016 at The Alverno in Clinton, following complications with Alzheimer's.

Funeral Services and Mass of Christian Burial for Carol Wolf will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Our Lady of the River, 28200 - 226th Street Place, LeClaire, Iowa. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by her son Rev. Joseph M. Wolf. The family will greet friends Tuesday at the church from 4:00 until the Mass time. Burial will be Wednesday at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home is assisting her family with arrangements.

Carolyn Jean Kollar was born October 16, 1938 in Streator, Illinois the daughter of Albert J. and Anna (Andrews) Kollar. She was united in marriage to Robert J. Wolf on October 3, 1959 in Streator, Illinois. They had shared 54 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2014.

In years prior to her marriage she had been a dental assistant. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fr. Conroy's Vineyard of Hope c/o Sr. Ludmilla Benda, Assumption High School or The Alverno.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Kathryn A. (Dr. Rick) Forrest, Clinton, Robert J. (Debbie) Wolf, Jr., Carlsbad, CA, Kristine M. (Chris) Vens, Clinton, James J. (Jen) Wolf, Davenport, and Rev. Joseph M. Wolf, LeClaire; 5 grandchildren, Joseph, Robert, Jennifer, Nicole and Nathaniel; 1 great grandchild; her sister Louise Frickey, Streator, IL; and a brother Albert (Betty) Kollar, Jr., Peoria, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. May they rest in peace.
