Cindy Luise Jacobson-Lester, 63, of Fulton, Illinois, passed away at MercyOne Medical Center on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with a celebration of her life taking place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is honored to serve the Jacobson-Lester family.

Cindy was born, July 18, 1960, in Pecatonica, Illinois the daughter of Willard R. and Henrietta J. (Hoeschele) Whetsel. She graduated from Pecatonica High School. She would further her education acquiring specialized training as a Certified Nurse's Assistant.

For over 30 years, Cindy worked as a CNA and was currently working at Addington Place, Clinton. She was loved by so many of her patients, their families and staff. Cindy has a gift of drawing people into her heart and it showed every day.

Cindy is survived by her loving sons - David (Melissa), Jesse (Trish) and Donny (Madison); her grandchildren and loves of her life - Brayden, Tucker, Greyson and Liam; one brother - Robert (Kathie) and one sister and best friend Karen (Ron) Orris and best friend for over 30 years Teresa Stacy and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother and one nephew.
