Dorothy Elaine (Wolf) Inhelder, 97, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Ridgecrest Village. Per her request cremation rites have been accorded and private family services will be held at a later date. She will be inurned at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials in Dorothy's name may be made to the Putnam Museum or to the Ridgecrest Chapel.

Dorothy was born on November 25, 1925 in West Liberty, Iowa to Herbert and Verda Wolf. Following high school, she attended Mercy Hospital Nursing School and earned her degree as a Registered Nurse. Dorothy was united in marriage to Elmer John Inhelder on April 17, 1948. She loved to travel the world and even went to all seven continents. Dorothy also enjoyed square dancing, reading books, and playing cards with family and friends.

Those left to honor her memory are her children John (Jean) Inhelder, Randy (Sue) Inhelder, Gary (Linda) Inhelder, and Marlys (Pat) Lyons; grandchildren Jennifer (Paul) Meier, Jaime Inhelder, Andrew (Allison) Inhelder, Alison (Joshua) Holkup, and Rebecca (Zac) Runyon; great-grandchildren Kyleigh and John Meier, Stanley, Lucy, and Penny Inhelder; siblings Carol Overlander and Larry (Julie) Wolf; along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer; her parents; and sister Marilyn Hansen.
