ELIZABETH LOUISE (BETTY LOU) BOUSSELOT

Elizabeth Louise (Betty Lou) Feldpausch Bousselot passed away on June 5, 2022 in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 94. She was born June 24, 1927, in DeWitt, Iowa, to Francis J. and Leona Kahler Feldpausch.

She graduated from DeWitt High School, May 24, 1945. She married William E. Bousselot in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, DeWitt, Iowa, May, 1947.

She worked many years as Secretary and Administrative Assistant to many types of businesses in DeWitt, St. Louis, Missouri, and Dallas, Texas; including at the University of Texas at Dallas, and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, over 52 years of employment. She was a 40 year resident of Farmers Branch, Texas, and attended Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Farmers Branch, Texas.

Survivors include three sons, David W. (Janice) Bousselot, Hamilton, Illinois, Dennis C. (Beverly) Bousselot, Marion, Iowa, and Michael A. (Mary Lou) Bousselot, Denton, Texas; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include sisters Dolores DePooter, Bettendorf, Iowa, Janis M. (Roger) Bousselot, Byron, Georgia, Marilyn K. (David) Engler, Davenport, Iowa, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Harold F. Feldpausch, sister-in-law Verna Feldpausch, and brother-in-law, Edward DePooter,

A service and Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Long Grove, Iowa. Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic Church Cemetery. Viewing will be limited to listed survivors one hour prior to Mass. Halligan-McCabe-Devries Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials in the name of Betty Lou Bousselot, may be made to the University of Iowa, Children's Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
