Clinton, Iowa - Gloria J. Byers, 82, of Clinton, passed away, Friday, January 23, 2026 in Davenport, Iowa.
A Celebration of Life will Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Legends - Clinton from 1:00-4:00pm. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Gloria Jean Breitbach was born on April 28, 1943 in Savanna, Illinois the daughter of Paul and Iowanda (Densmore) Breitbach.
Gloria was employed at General Electric for 28 years. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Most importantly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gloria is survived by her daughters: Julie Young of Moline, Illinois, Rebecca (Mike) Powlistha of Clinton, Iowa; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and her sister: Pam Norton of San Diego, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter: LaShelle, her sister, her brother, and a son-in-law.
