Smithville, MO - Gloria J. Stahl age 83 of Camanche, IA., passed away January 15th, 2026 at her home in Smithville, Mo.
Gloria was born in Clinton on April, 23 1942 , the daughter of Paul and Louise (Duncan) Wernick. Gloria worked at the Clinton Garment Company, McEleny Motor Company and Swiss Colony. She was highly creative and loved macramé, needlepoint, knitting, quilting, ceramics, and had an infectious laugh that garnered many friends that loved her dearly.
She is survived by three children: Richard Stahl (Theresa) of Albany, IL, Michael Stahl of Clinton, IA and Douglas Stahl (Sandra) of Smithville, MO; her sisters Leanna (Neil) Wilson of Fairfield, CA, Renee Ottens of Clinton, and Tina (Mark) Ihringer of Williston, ND. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Bill and Terry Wernick
