Fulton, Illinois - Jonas William Hobbs, 45, of Fulton, died on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Jonas was born October 15, 2024, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of David and Willa (Fisher) Hobbs. He was a veteran of the US Army, and proudly served in Iraq. Jonas's legacy will live on in the lives saved by his gift of organ donation.
Survivors include three daughters, Alysha Hobbs, of Savanna, Trinity Hobbs, of Dixon, and Hayden Hobbs, of Fulton; his mother, Willa Mitchell, of Clinton; one sister, Jennifer Hobbs, of Clinton; three grandchildren, Hunter, Hazlee, and Aaliyah; and his ex-wife and mother of his children, Becky Hobbs, of Fulton.
Jonas was preceded in death by his father, stepfather, Edward "Ned" Mitchell, and one brother, Jason Hobbs.
Visitation will be from 1-3:30 p.m., on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at McDonald Funeral Home in Fulton. Military honors will conclude at 3:30 p.m. Cremation rites will then be accorded.
