Judith M. Diesch Obituary

Judith Mae Diesch, age 79, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Alverno. Per Judy's wishes there will be no visitation. A private service will be at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Judith was born October 27, 1945, the daughter of Ernest and Marcella (Gillson) Swartout in Mankato, Minnesota. She married Douglas J. Diesch on August 26, 1967, in St. Peter, Minnesota, and they have one child Steve. She worked at K-Mart, Little Caesars Pizza and Home Depot. She drove to the same parking lot for 30 years. She always said her car knew exactly where to go, retiring from Home Depot, where she was known as The Paint Lady. She loved to golf, bowl and gardening in her back yard, but what she really enjoyed the most was taking her grandsons on vacation.

Judith is survived by her son Steve (Melissa) Diesch of Clinton; 3 grandchildren, Chris (Gabi) Shannon, Jay (Alyssa) Diesch, and Sean (Taylor) Diesch all of Clinton; 3 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; a sister, Mary (Bob) Kellett of California, and a brother, Brad (Kathy) Swartout of Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The family would like to extend a big thank you to all the staff at The Alverno-Memory Care Unit and Mercy Hospice. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
