Judith Ann Krogman
Judith A. "Judy" Krogman, age 79 of Clinton, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at Wellspire in DeWitt. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 17th at Prince of Peace Parish. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Pape Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 2:30 PM. Additional visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the service time Thursday at the church. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Judy was born in Clinton on July 27, 1940, the daughter of Roland and Mary (Wisor) Runge. She graduated from Mt. St. Clare Academy and received her LPN training at Clinton Community College. Judy married Norbert "Nubs" Krogman on June 28, 1958 at St. Irenaeus Church in Clinton. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. Judy worked as an LPN for many years in the Clinton area and was also employed at various businesses throughout her life. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking, bingo, music and playing games, and watching Wheel of Fortune and the Cubs. In her earlier years she played accordion with her dad for many dances. Judy was well known for her smile, bubbly personality and gentle kindness.

Judy is survived by her husband Norbert; 3 children, Debbie (Brian) Bredekamp of Spragueville, John (Terri) Krogman of Preston and JoAnn Reader of Clinton; 10 grandchildren, Melissa, Dwight, Melinda, Dustin, Miranda, Nathan, Josie, Mitchell, Brady and Corey; 10 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jim Runge of Clinton and Steve (Linda) Runge of Camanche; a sister, Joanie (Al) Langrehr of Clinton; a son-in-law, Tom Schroeder of Clinton and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Donna Schroeder and a sister-in-law, Eileen Runge. A memorial has been established. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

It saddened me to hear this news,My love and sympathy.We enjoyed times bowling and just visiting.She was a good Christian lady .Seemed so happy all the tine.A mass will be said for her at Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville,Il RIP!Judy.
