Judith "Judy" Anita Yellman, 81, of Rock Island and formerly of Clinton, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Generations at Rock Island.
Services will be held at 12:00PM (Noon) Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the service hour Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at snellzornig.com
Judy was born May 26, 1943 in West Point, NY, the daughter of John and Margaret (Callahan) Witt. Judy married Paul Yellman in Chicago, Illinois February 8, 1964; he died March 2, 2013. She was a 1961 Clinton High School graduate and attended Clinton Community College.
Judy was employed as an administrative assistant at Data Dimensions and volunteered at nursing homes, played piano and accordion, loved karaoke, and passed on her love of music to all her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons: Patrick (Jeanine) Yellman of Erlanger, KY and Jack Lassiter of Mt. Dora, FL; daughter, Sarah (Ken) Jacoby of Rock Island, IL and five grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Yellman and her parents.
