Clinton, Iowa - Julia C. Leonard, 77, of Camanche, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Alverno-Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 12 p.m. (Noon), Monday, June 29, 2026, at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Rose Hill Cemetery. Julia Christine Putman was born November 18, 1948, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Darlene (Breiter) Putman. She was a 1967 graduate of Camanche High School. She married Larry W. Leonard on February 28, 1969, in Camanche, Iowa.

Juli worked at Burke's Florist and Wilson Greenhouse for many years and was part owner of Garden Gate Gifts. She was a member of St. Mark's Methodist Church in Camanche and the Camanche Historical Society. She enjoyed gardening, crafting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Larry Leonard of Camanche; two daughters: Alison (Tom) Starbuck of Clinton and Lindsay (Andy McGarry) Blinkinsop of DeWitt; five grandchildren: Sarah, Hannah, Noah, Claire and Christian; one great granddaughter Rozlynne; and two brothers: Kevin (Vickie) Putman of Newburgh, Indiana and Scott (Jimmie) Putman of Vermillion, South Dakota.
