Land O'Lakes, FL - A private prayer service will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Bushnell National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida, for Phyllis I. Putman (nee Otto), 85. She passed away at Life Path Melech Hospice House in Tampa, Florida, after a sudden, brief illness.
Mrs. Putman was born February 28, 1940, in Low Moor, Iowa, to Archibald and Helen Otto. She married Ronald A. Putman on July 26, 1958, in Low Moor, Iowa.
She and Ron were avid travelers, having visited 8 countries and 47 US states. She attended Sodus School, Shafton, Iowa (a two-room schoolhouse). She graduated from Clinton High School in 1958.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Kremp, Lutz, Florida; grandson Jeffrey Kremp, St. Petersburg, Florida; and granddaughter Kathryn Kremp, Lutz, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; several in-laws, nieces and nephews; and her son-in-law Philip W. Kremp.
