Rachel A. Leif


Rachel A. Leif age 25 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019 at her home in Camanche. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 14th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the service time at the funeral home. Following the service, cremation rites will be accorded and a burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to bring in your favorite photo(s) of Rachel to be displayed on a photo board. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Rachel was born on August 21, 1994 in Clinton, the daughter of Daniel Hood and Michele Leif. She graduated from Clinton High. Rachel worked as a CNA at Genesis in DeWitt. She enjoyed camping, fishing, playing darts, kickball and spending time with her friends.

Rachel is survived by her mother, Michele (Ronnie Savochka) Leif of Clinton; her sister Ciara Leif of Clinton; her grandmother Veneta Leif of Fulton, IL; her aunt Sally Christiansen of Delmar, IA and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Daniel Hood; her grandfather Dennis Leif and her uncle Micheal Leif.
