Robert E. "Bob" Hudson, age 62, of Clinton passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Following the services cremation rites will be accorded with burial at the Rock Island National Cemetery.

Bob was born in Clinton on October 31, 1962, the son of Allen "Al" and Katherine "Kathy" (Kjergaard) Hudson. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1981. Bob was a proud Air Force Veteran. He was employed at Timken in Fulton for 25 years. Bob was a very active volunteer at the Clinton Humane Society. He loved music, traveling, playing the lottery, but most of all his fury friend's. He could speak German fluently, was an avid Iowa Hawkeye, Cubs, and Kansas City Chiefs fan, he loved gift giving and had a contagious laugh.

Bob is survived by his father, Al of Clinton; a sister, Dawn (Kevin) Murphy of Camanche; 4 brothers, Scott Hudson, Dave Hudson, and Randy Hudson all of Clinton, and Terry (Stacy Wulf) of Camanche; a godson, Josh Murphy; many nieces and nephews; and his fury best friend, Jax. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy.
